Base Cover

The Base Crib Mattress cover is the cover that comes with your standard crib mattress. It’s safe and breathable, made of a non-toxic cotton/polyester blend. It doesn’t feature the water-resistant, hypoallergenic benefits of our SafeSleep™ Pebble, Dimple and Print crib mattress covers. We recommend purchasing a waterproof Uh Oh Pad with this cover.
Free of Plastic
There’s a reason we tell our kids not to put plastic over their heads – it’s not breathable. Our crib mattresses and crib mattress covers are free of impermeable, waterproof plastic and polymers that can grow mold.

Care Instructions & Use
Care Instructions

Machine wash covers alone in cold water with mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not use fabric softener, chlorine bleach or dryer sheets.

Recommended Use
The Base SafetyCover™ crib mattress covers are uniquely designed to be used with Nook’s crib mattresses. Nook’s crib mattresses are 4″ in depth while coil or other crib mattresses tend to be 5″-6″. Using our crib mattress covers on larger crib mattresses is not recommended.
We recommend purchasing our waterproof Uh Oh Pad with the Base Cover and do not recommend the Uh Oh Pad for babies under 12 months of age.

We understand you are anxious to receive your Nook product! All orders are processed Monday-Friday and will ship within 1 business day from the receipt of the order. This does not include sales, weekends, or holidays. Orders received after 12:00pm PST on a Friday will be shipped the following Monday. This applies to 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air orders as well.
Warranty

The Basic Cover has a 90-day warranty from due date and is not eligible for our 100-Night Free Trial.
