This version has been fine-tuned to fit bicycle stems and tight sections of handlebars down to only 1.75" wide (<5.5inches or 14cm circumference). The leather conforms automatically to curved uneven areas, and the strap forms a stable flat surface for your phone.
Two custom-molded silicone bands will stretch to fit very snugly and securely around any smartphone, with any case! But another advantage of silicone is that it won't dry out, crack or lose its stretch like rubber. Grippy silicone webbing on the back keeps the holder from slipping. A solid brass or nickel Chicago screw that holds down the strap also makes it easy to swap out the silicone bands if one ever needs replacement.
TIP: It's important to choose the version that allows the leather to overlap itself and cover the screw that makes the bands replaceable. Leather has natural variations, and for unique finishes it's hard to get the same leather twice, so once a particular hide is gone it will be replaced by new versions.
